I believe in the power of sharing thoughts and ideas. Tragically, many kids fall victim to the streets— including me during my youth. Faced with the choice of enduring daily beatings or escaping to the streets, I know firsthand the struggles these kids endure and how to reach them, which is crucial to their development. These children are good kids caught in unfortunate circumstances. Take Demetrius, for example, a 15-year-old who, instead of playing sports and enjoying his teenage years, is forced into survival mode, living day by day with hopes of one day attending college. Sadly, the reality is that without intervention, Demetrius might end up in the judicial system or worse. This is why I am committed to building SOC Ranch—a sanctuary designed to house up to 50 homeless children. At SOC Ranch, we will provide them with the skills they need through education, AA/NA support, trauma counseling, agricultural training, and social skills development. This comprehensive approach aims to equip them to lead productive lives.
